Hands on

We are excited: Friday will see the beginning of our practical seminar “Transmedia Storytelling”, which we co-host as part of our partnership with Witten/Herdecke University and Prof. Dr. Julia Genz from the Faculty for Humanities and Arts.

On three weekends in November, December and January, respectively, we will discuss the scientific framework of our real world game with students and together, develop practical examples for the use in class. In order to do this, we will contribute exciting topics for third and fourth grade, such as robots of the future, a mini weather station and a DIY newspaper.

Of course, we also offer practical insight to the students, especially regarding questions around our developing routine: How can stories be told across media borders? Which learning content is suitable for which stories? How can a fusion from story content and learning content be utilized effectively – in class, at home, on the go?
