LudInc has joined forces (no pun intended) with the Berlin Police Department to create a completely new kind traffic safety experience for children. In spite of the rain, everybody had a lot of fun shooting this latest episode of Professor S.
Thanks to Commissioner Haase, a road safety adviser with the Berlin Police, we got to play with bikes and police cars all day!
For the first time, a transmedia game is being used to help children navigate the perils of city traffic. In this episode, our hero Professor S. faces a dangerous challenge: Aliens have abducted his assistant Jeanette and the time laboratory has been damaged. The professor must fetch a vital part from across town to repair it. However, on the way he is stopped by the police and his bicycle, found to be not roadworthy, is impounded. In order to retrieve it, he must first pass the bicycle test. Can the children help him pass the test and return Jeanette to safety?
The pupils learn everything there is to know about keeping safe on the road. They practice on their bicycles, and learn to pass the bike test as well as researching traffic rules and presenting their results to each other and Professor S. – the kids engage in a lively dialogue with the professor, and do everything they can to help him get his bicycle back from the police. Together, can they rescue Jeanette from the clutches of the aliens?
